Today is Global Overshoot Day 2025. It’s time to rethink business as usual.
Today, 24 July 2025, marks Global Overshoot Day, the date when humanity’s demand for natural resources exceeds what Earth can regenerate in a year (Source). From this point on, we are operating in ecological deficit.
