Traceability

Lower impact gifts are gifts that have a reduced impact on the environment, because of the higher level of responsible and recycled materials that have been used for their production, as well as for the traceability of these materials.

This logo indicates that there is a secure traceability of the recycled materials used in the product. This logo indicates that the used recycled materials come from a 100% Recycle Claim standard verified supply chain. This logo indicates that the used recycled materials are from a 100% verified Recycle Claim Standard supply chain and at least with 95% recycled content by product weight.

This logo indicates that the recycled material is from a 100% Global Recycled standard verified supply chain. This logo indicates that the product and packaging uses paper, wood and bamboo from responsible sources. This label is for textiles tested for harmful substances. It stands for customer confidence and high product safety.

Recycled Claim Standard (RCS)

The Recycled Claim Standard (RCS) is used as a chain of custody standard to track recycled raw materials through the supply chain.

The GRS/RCS logo ensures the materials used in the product are genuinely recycled.

Difference between standards
The RCS and GRS are the same, except that the GRS is a more rigorous standard; in the GRS, there is a higher minimum content percentage (50%) and additional processing requirements that must be met (social, environmental, and chemical). So GRS items have a higher recycled content than RCS items.

Global Recycle Standard (GRS)

The Global Recycled Standard (GRS) is a voluntary product standard for tracking and verifying the content of recycled materials in a final product.

The standard applies to the full supply chain and addresses traceability, environmental principles, social requirements, chemical content and labelling.

Forest Stewardship Council® (FSC®)

FSC® forest management certification confirms that the forest is being managed in a way that preserves biological diversity and benefits the lives of local people and workers, while ensuring it sustains economic viability.

FSC® certified forests have earned their reputation for environmental credibility, protection, healthy forestry, social engagement and the prevention of illegal forestation.

That’s why we use FSC-certified wood, bamboo, paper, and cork in our FSC-certified products.
