A bright and green future lies ahead of us if we all start to be more conscious. We believe that recycable starts with transparency. We believe that traceability and sustainability are deeply connected. XD Connects carries products that aim to make an impact on the use of water where possible. We strive to do so by using recycled polyester and cotton. When using these recycled materials we save thousands of litres of water *.

With AWARE™ we guarantee the genuine used recycled fabric materials and the water impact reduction claim. AWARE™ is a virtual component that verifies sustainable content in a final product by tracer technology and validates claims by blockchain technology.

Recycled Claim Standard (RCS)

The Recycled Claim Standard (RCS) is used as a chain of custody standard to track recycled raw materials through the supply chain.

The GRS/RCS logo ensures the materials used in the product are genuinely recycled.

Difference between standards
The RCS and GRS are the same, except that the GRS is a more rigorous standard; in the GRS, there is a higher minimum content percentage (50%) and additional processing requirements that must be met (social, environmental, and chemical). So GRS items have a higher recycled content than RCS items.

Global Recycle Standard (GRS)

The Global Recycled Standard (GRS) is a voluntary product standard for tracking and verifying the content of recycled materials in a final product.

The standard applies to the full supply chain and addresses traceability, environmental principles, social requirements, chemical content and labelling.

Forest Stewardship Council® (FSC®)

FSC® forest management certification confirms that the forest is being managed in a way that preserves biological diversity and benefits the lives of local people and workers, while ensuring it sustains economic viability.

FSC® certified forests have earned their reputation for environmental credibility, protection, healthy forestry, social engagement and the prevention of illegal forestation.

That’s why we use FSC-certified wood, bamboo, paper, and cork in our FSC-certified products.

If a textile article carries the STANDARD 100 label, you can be certain that every component of this article has been tested for harmful substances and that the article therefore is harmless for human health. In many cases the STANDARD 100 goes beyond national and international requirements.
